Lulu is the new support in League of Legends that has finally been released and I can’t play her!
There are two reasons for this; the first of which involves a bad wrist and a trip to the hospital and the second is because of my playing style.
Well I say playing style, more like lack of skill! This is not a support for a Newbie to the game as she does not have a heal and has a very skillful talent to play her effectively.
Having watched Purpose playing her for acouple of time, it is possible to be agressive, but the ability to carry a game is not great!
Her cute way of turning players into a squirrel is a great way of protecting yourself, but is short so blink and you’ll miss it at first. I did!
So if you like a character with alot of actions to do, is an interesting and new support, then this is the character for you! If you’re like me, struggling to do multi tasks and complex tasks with no good heal, avoid however how cute!
Shame; she is cute!
I have always thought that a N00b and a newbie were the same or a very similar thing, yet I am quickly finding this is not the case.
There seems to be a difference in maturity in the two, and while I thought I was a N00b in terms of being a geek, I am not. Really I am a newbie as I have the unexperience yet strive to push my self.
I am not actually a n00b, who is perceived as annoying and a problem to those in the gaming and geeky world. This seems in fact a term for those who seem to think they are amazing… yet are not!
See I clearly know I am rubbish and still learning alot at everything… so I should be happy about that!
Shame it makes my name now seem silly… I guess it does show how much of a newbie I am at all of this!
I have decided that broken bones and limbs break lent too.
I have also come to a second conclusion; I am never being belated by a fresher!
Before you ask, I am alive and well; though I doubt real worry from you on my behalf.
Today rather than going outdoor climbing in the rain, myself a few other decided going climbing at the Warehouse in Gloucester was better. Climbing with the old university group is great fun, and the perfect catch up, while having a chance to climb again.
You also have an idea of how good the course and instruction of the group is and know that 5 months after starting, the freshers are able to belay safely.
Oh how wrong could we be!
After I had exhausted my wrists from climbing 3 routes and belaying 2, we got a fresher who was left alone to belay my friend.
Successfully having completed the climb she began to descend but at a fast rate! Telling the fresher to slow her up, rather than slowing or stopping her, he let go of the rope!
She now has mashed up the two bones in her forearm and requires surgery to correct it and he is probably terrified to belay ever again.
Her s-shaped wrist has now been straightened and plastered but her lent will now be broken as she now needs the sugar from the hospital starving her of food in case they could operate. But if faced with a break like that, if you like chocolate, you need a cheer up!
So I think if you break a bone, especially badly, your lent should get to finish early. That doesn’t mean if your struggling with lent that you can go and break something; it is only unintentional breaks!
After eating something that months ago would have had me hardly able to move, and I am still hungry!
This is what happens when you eat too much and stretch your stomach! Now I have to shrink my stomach again and have smaller meals!
But then this is one of the things to expect when you date a guy who likes to eat big meals!
So now I need to eat less but right now… I’m so hungry!
Screw it I’m eating that Dime bar! It’s asking for it!
Tomorrow I am eating smaller meals! Note to self, when dating someone, make sure you eat smaller sized meals!
As someone who can’t aim on moving targets that well, especially a vast number of moving targets, a nice wide attack seems a great plan for a n00b like me. Well after a game playing Ashe (for a 3rd time) and having enough points, Purpose suggested playing Soraka.
As a healing character, who can be a great support, it would be a great way to ease into the game.
First time after buying her though, having not be told by Purpose to be passive instead of jumping right in and wondering why my attacking power was so low, I sucked.
Yes you can play her as an agressive character, but you have to build her that way by starting with Q and choosing other items to build her that way. My first game was full of stress, putting me off the role of support (though at a very low ranking futile I know but you have to learn somewhere). After my second and third game, finally knowing to be passive, I really got into the character! Being able to learn to hover around character, healing them and quickly running away then back again.
Getting basic boots then better boots really did make a difference! Being able to run fast is a good thing! Bushes and running are your friend in this role.
So how do you not play Soraka? Well like me, getting killed, hitting the minions with the heal or silences rather than the characters, and button bashing!
Yes I am a button basher when it comes to games like Tekken and Super Smash Bros Brawl! Do not button bash with this game! It just wastes your good powers at the wrong times. Don’t mix up your numbers and letters… as I kept doing. You might then wonder why its doin g nothing!
Keep your hand still as a noob and only move it if you know you are going to go straight back to the correct part of the keyboard.
I really do like Soraka, and will unfortunately be annoying people with my terrible playing! Sorry 😦
Having watched many a game of League of Legends, I have come across Morgana a number of times with her big black pool of evil. She is such a fierce character, it is quite scary as a newbie playing her.
As the third champion I played, it was so scary and difficult, but my confusion between the left and right button was my main downfall here. The whole game was a blur of panic!
She is a great and powerful character, when played correctly; shame I can’t. So much a blur, I can’t even remember what button did what for her!
So how not to play her? Like me running around and right under towers or into towers, or not paying attention to bushes where it seemed the enemy constantly jump out of! Also be warned that once experienced gamers know your a n00b, run! They just know to pick on you to get kills or “fed” as they call it.
Remember to be good and “gg” or “good game” at the end, and don’t whine or swear; you’ll get reported so be nice!
